Meet this AMAZING group of death doulas.
A death doula -- also known as an end-of-life doula/coach, death midwife, or death coach -- is a professional who provides holistic, non-medical support to the dying and their loved ones.
Each doula has a unique background, approach, and skill set. Common doula services include emotional, spiritual, and logistical support, education about the dying process, vigil planning, legacy projects, after-death care, and grief support.

We are looking for compassionate, empathetic individuals with caregiving experience who are comfortable supporting guests and families at the end of life. We do not require a CNA for employment but will ask all employees to do special medication management training and other training for the agency and for The Bird House, Hospice Home of Johnson County orientation.
